We saw the building from the road and were intrigued, so we stopped by on our way back to DFW. Didn't know it until I was inside and saw the award stickers, but then I realized that I've tried their jerky at Zest Fest before. My friend and I sampled a few. They have some good flavors to choose from. For the average person to someone who likes a little spice kick. Their TNT is their spiciest option. It wasn't very spicy to me, but I also like Carolina Reaper, so I have a pretty high spice tolerance. It tasted good, which is the important thing. I bought a bag. If you like jerky and/or you like spicy, this place is worth a visit.

Jerky shack is THE jerky spot! A bunch of awesome flavors and plenty of different sizes. Janice is the best. Super friendly and helpful! I'd like to meet the person that can handle the TNT heat level jerky, the mild alone had me sweatin' haha worcestershire was probably my favorite.

This was my 1st visit to the Texas jerky shack, and I was not disappointed. The nice man behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the homemade jerky he was selling, he had multiple varieties from non spicy all the way up to very spicy, though I did need to wear a mask, this was of little inconvenience as the product was very well made, not dry, full of flavor and there were other snacks there. I encourage everyone who likes home made award winning jerky, to give this place a go.

Several delicious beef jerkies to choose from. Samples available. Yes, it's open! Go in, there's honey and meat rubs also. The worcestershire Serrano is my favorite. A little drier than the others (my preference) and a glaze. And the lady inside is a gem.
